Several years ago, Philip Milano decided to live out a dream that had been replaying in his mind and took a year off from his everyday life to learn more about the world and its people. It was, with-a-doubt, a life-changing experience.

While traveling, he kept an active travel journal, where he summarized his always surreal experiences along the way. This journal is the basis for his book, Under One Sky, a story of Philip’s solo adventure around the world and his transformation along the way. As his preoccupation with actually being in a foreign land disappeared, his eyes were opened to a world that, while at first felt so overwhelmingly foreign, ended up being much more familiar than he could have imagined.
